From Traverse City, west on M-72 toward Empire at the Tom's West Bay Shopping Center (traffic light). Follow M-72 seven miles (look for the "King's Challenge Golf Courses" directional sign) to County Road 651. Turn right (north) and travel five (5) miles to the village of Cedar and veer left at the second blinking light. Travel four miles to Bodus Road ("King's Challenge Golf Courses" directional sign on Southwest corner, Sugarfoot Saloon on Northeast corner). Turn left (west) and follow Bodus Road for one mile to the stop sign, Townline Road. Turn right on Townline Road left on to M-22.
